Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026. This policy explains exactly what LIVEY collects and why.

Engineering draft — pending legal review. This document reflects LIVEY's actual v1.0 data practices but has not yet completed external legal review (PRD Q-11). The reviewed version will replace this draft before the app is submitted to the App Store and Google Play.

What We Collect

LIVEY collects only what it needs to run. We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, photos, camera, or microphone, and we do not track you across apps or websites. There is no advertising and no third-party analytics.

We also store basic profile preferences you set — your home ZIP code, account role (user, venue, or artist), and your account status (including a deletion marker if you ask us to delete your account).

Email Address

Provided when you create an account (handled by Supabase Auth, stored with a hashed password). Used to sign you in, send transactional emails (verification, password reset, account-deletion confirmation), and identify your account.

Name

The display name you enter during onboarding (profiles.display_name). Used to personalize the app. Optional.

Device ID

An Expo push-notification token tied to your device (user_push_tokens.token), stored only if you opt in to push notifications. Used to send the event reminders you ask for. You can revoke it any time from Settings.

User Content

If you report content, we store your report (the target, a category, and an optional free-text reason). Used solely to moderate the platform within our 24-hour review SLA.

Crash Data

Diagnostic crash reports (via Sentry) that are not linked to your identity — we do not attach your user profile to crash events. Used only to find and fix bugs.

IP Address

When you use the public account-deletion form, your IP address is held briefly (≤24 hours) purely to rate-limit abuse of that form. It is a security measure, not tracking, and is never used to profile you or shared with anyone.

How Long We Keep Your Data & How to Delete It

When you delete your account, we immediately disable it (soft delete) and permanently erase all of your data within 30 days. Reminder dispatch logs are pruned on a 7-day window. We keep your data only while your account is active.

You can delete your account two ways: in the LIVEY app via Settings → Account → Delete account, or — without installing the app — using our public form at liveyapp.com/account/delete.

Your Rights

You may view, update, or delete your data at any time. For anything not covered by the in-app or web deletion flows, email support@liveyapp.com.
